In Italy you must have done at least one year in the military before being able to apply for the police. I think it’s the way forward, it would stop all the fatso’s and slovenly meffs from getting in. Our OB police are one of the few in the world that don’t carry a firearm, that will change at some point. It has to. The military is where they need to recruit from, not woke universities. Put some pride back in the uniform. Who would you want carrying a gun when there’s a marauding active shooter running riot, an ex Marine or someone with a degree in Philosophy? Saw a video of some daft munter from Sunderland getting a video'd visit from the law this morning after rolling a wheelie bin into them last-night..
