Clear style of play, clear progression from previous pre season games, players are starting to understand their roles in the side. Just that obvious missing piece up top. We really aren't far away from being good.
I haven’t read the comments up to now as I’m getting drunk in the back yard while watching this match but I’m actually quite pleased with our play. Chasing, pressing decisive passing with great performances by Neil, Brown and mayenda is being a handful. If we get Mendy in colour me optimistic !
Yes, correct. It's the same posters making the same point every day. They genuinely seems to prefer the opportunity to be negative. There were real positives in that half. Yes, we need a CF but the players have picked up exactly what Le Bris wants them to do with the high press.
Hes caught on his back foot too often in the box but i do like him, hes putting in a shift and you can see theres a talent there Hopefully scores in the 2nd half as itll give him a huge boost
not a bad half, can see signs. I'd want Neil in the 8 over Jobe and a DM mind, pointless talking about the striker, will be an issue till we get one.
Really enjoying how we are trying to play, aggressive out of possession and playing at good pace in possession Honestly dont think anyone played bad in that half Browne is going to be massive for us, you can see his ability on the ball but its his movement n organising skills that are impressing me Itll take time to full get this system right so we will need to be patient at times as we will concede some sloppy goals but when we get it right we will be a joy to watch imo
Have to say this is my biggest worry with him, he gets caught on the turn so often. Hopefully can get out of the habit going to be a steep learning curve for him this season there

Would love to see this high press at a packed SOL - can see the crowd roaring them on and a crunching slide tackle type of cheer when the ball is won back
Very impressed with Browne aswell, lets hope that any further additions are of at least that quality.
