The killer has now been named as Axel Rudakubana, the court decided that it was in the public interest to reveal his name and put an end to the inaccurate rumours being spread on social media (he's eighteen in a week, so his name would have been revealed then anyway). He was born in Wales, he didn't arrive by boat, he's not an asylum seeker, he's not a Muslim and he's not on any MI5 watchlist. Social media is an appalling vehicle for misinformation and it's for that reason we wanted this board to play no part in that inaccurate rumour spreading. Thanks for your understanding.
