Very sad and way too young. Didn't even realise he was not well. Pearson will always be my favourite City boss and it was his partnership with Shakey that helped rebuild our club. Went on to manage in his own right but it was with Pearson and then he helped bridge that gap with Ranieri that I remember most.
Absolutely. Without NP and Shakey, parts one and two nothing that's happened to us, would've happened. The contribution they made is invaluable. It was announced last October that he had cancer, sadly. The tributes from our ex players have been so moving. He was always spoken of so lovely by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him when alive so, it's no surprise now.
