That house is in Leven my old fart, and legend is that it’s in the deeds of the house that whoever buys it they have to remain there.
I get people say they'd rather sign players that want to play here... The question is does anybody want to?
Think we'll have to wait until he gets a half decent squad to mould before we can thrust that upon him
I don't know what's holding up the deals but I hope we don't miss out on the likes of Millar and Hughes because we're arguing over pennies. Just get them over the line and leave no time for getting gazumped.
It helps getting players buy into your ideas which as the second half showed last night, they clearly are
I really hope we don’t get gazumped for Hughes, fortunately the fee will put a lot off bar maybe parachute payment sides but fortunately they’re all fairly set in centre back for now.
WBA have just replaced Asante with Devante Cole on a free! If Acun did that this forum would explode!
Given our current predicament, even If we signed his old man,I probably wouldn't explode but I'd be close to reaching the tickly bit!!!
I know some of the clever, I alone understand how football works, knowledgistas on here will tell me how wrong I am and how I'm a knaa nowt, iggerant clownshoe, but the situation we are in can be analogously described thus: If I decide I want a new pair of shoes, I don't throw my old pair away, then wait a month before I get around to going to buy a new pair, because there's a chance that the shop won't have them in my size, which'll mean that I'm now barefoot with no shoes. I'm gonna be in pain. I'm gonna be well off my usual pace. I'm gonna get left behind very quickly by all sensibly shod people.
Agree with this Ernie, unfortunately apart from the released players I’m not sure we had the capacity to keep anyone we’ve sold, nor should we of in the cases of Lokilo, Allsop, Ingram
But if you’re offered a decent price for your old pair, and they’re causing you pain because the soles are worn out, bits are falling off and when it rains your feet get soaked, you’d perhaps be a little more careful about immediately buying a pair of similar or worse quality that you had to hold on to for a few years rather than wait for a better pair to become available in a couple of weeks.
