How bad does it have to get before the Government declares a national emergency, holds Cobra meetings and takes some real action? Young men and kids running wild with machetes, carving knifes, blades, whatever, and it's seen as just how it is. And that's just part of it. Some might not be seeing what's actually happening across the country as MSM is for some reason not showing most of it, but it doesn't take much digging to find it (not just on social media but also on 'alternative' news channels) - it isn't made up stuff, it's crystal clear with filmed evidence of what's happening. It is truly frightening.
I've no idea if they're still free to be honest, I've never checked the charges on our cheque banking (it's cash banking that they're really ramping up the charges on). I've got over 100 customers and only 2 still use cheques, one of them works out his forward order value and then sends me a post-dated cheque a week for the next six months, I keep telling him I'm not going to go to the bank weekly just for his cheques but he insists on doing it anyway. It's completely pointless, I only go to bank them once every two months and even then I only do it when I go visit my mum who lives near the bank. Without her being nearby, I'd wait six months and bank them all at once.
The bank I'm with for my personal account has pretty good cheque scanning on their app, but my business bank one is absolutely hopeless, I'm lucky if it scans one in five cheques.
I visited a data centre a few years ago which was sited at one of the big banks’ former cheque sorting centres. When they converted it they found loads of old cheques under the raised floor, that had fallen through cracks. They’d framed a load for the meeting room I was in.
No, mine is a land rover and he was in some vauxhall saloon thing. Happened at the end of holderness Road as it joins Witham. He punched drivers window twice and then started on the wing mirror. The mirror didn't even move out of position ha ha.
I bought one for commuting to Leeds and back. Sold it with 220k on, but was a beast and no signs of dying. Still think about it every day! I'm tearing up.
I bought a 9-5 about 20 years ago, just as Saab were getting into the real financial trouble that finished them off. The price was crazy - even then around 15 grand cheaper than any other Swedish or German equivalent. The 9-5 had had no development since GM bought Saab about 10 years previously however and it was showing clear signs of falling behind the competition in terms of specification, trim, performance etc. That said, it was a lovely car to drive and solid as a rock; quality was there to see. Hopeless management finished off Saab, not the quality of their vehicles.
Yes mate but I can't be arsed with it, plus the fact it takes longer for the driver to get paid the money, upto a week.
