Kilmarnock target Sunderland left back SPFL side Kilmarnock want Sunderland's highly rated Ollie Bainbridge on loan for the season. Boss Derek McInnes is keen in the defender whose displays stood out for the under-21 side on Wearside. Bainbridge will leap at the chance of regular top flight football after knocking on the door for the first team at the Stadium of Light.
Dare I say if Bainbridge is good enough to be starting for Kilmarnock, I’d rather he was our back up left back. Although I appreciate he needs first team football. either way it’s a cracking loan for him. I hope if it happens he doesn’t get dropped. Mayendas loan to the SPL was a waste of time.
Bloody hell, that’s more than I’ve been paying for the last two seasons for a Brighton season ticket.
Thats the issue. Always has been. His under 21 performances have been the height of laziness too. You're not getting games on this system if you're not grafting.
Christ almighty man we’ve been hearing this argument that there are so many weeks left of the window for a couple of years now and we still haven’t resolved the striker situation. I said way back earlier on here, this is Speakman’s last chance in my book, not that my book means anything to the club, but it means a lot to me. So there.
I may be over simplifying, but if a kid comes into the club and isn't up to the standard of the 1st team then he grafts his bollocks off in the u21s to force his way into first team reckoning. Hemir made a handful of appearances in the 21s without making a notable impression
We've completely mismanaged him fella. No doubt he could do with putting himself about more, but I think he's got a lot going for him if harnessed properly.
Does he take no responsibility? I know he's a kid, but surely putting some effort in and proving folk wrong is the core of a young player's mentality.
I can honestly why we took a risk on him but just not sure hes cut out for English football I know some people want him to go on loan to a L1 L2 side but id prefer him to go on loan to a Portuguese side (or another league in Europe) and just enjoy his football - just get senior football experience
I bow to your greater knowledge, but wouldn't it be better to get senior football experience in this country? Find a pathway into the 1st team here?
