    They're all 'into bread'.

    Get it?

Not one of mine, it's an old Chubby Brown joke that I changed a few words in.

Looking at our team now, aside from the managerial farce that was being played out you could blame quality. Coloccini and Enrique at the time were terrible. No confidence or ability to play premier league football at all, which is why they didn't find new clubs when we went down. Beye was good but Bassong, whilst he had moments of brilliance, was a total rookie and playing alongside poor players was bound to struggle. Remember he was signed for the youth team but got thrown in because Colo couldn't adapt and saylor kept getting injured. Add in Owen, Martins and Duffs lack of heart we've got Given, Butt, Guthrie and Jonas left. Butt was unable to complete 90 mins, Guthrie was a kid who was torn to shreds over the ***an challenge and Jonas, for all his effort couldn't actually perform a wingers job. Moving to the subs bench; Lover, Smith, Ameobi? Barton and Nolan spent a lot of time injured or banned. We never had a leader in that squad.

I hope not - it is a guaranteed minimum of 4 points per season agst them. When Bruce gets the push they should survive. I hope Wigan, Bburn & Wolves go down.

PS Watching Barca v Rayo with Marcelino as the pundit. Wot an ugly git!

Just watched footage of the Guthrie ***an incident. Filthy challenge from Guthrie, but ***an was a filthy player. Seriously do not miss that season at all. THANK YOU CHRISSY HUGHTON <hug> for saving our bacon. <3

I love derby days so i don't want them to go down, even though i dislike the little ****s! I still think one of the promoted sides will go down, and if Blackburn don't get rid of Kean soon, they'll go down along with Wigan.

I hate them, as I know their fans love them and won't shut up if they even get a draw.

Wasn't long ago they were bragging about finishing a point ahead of us last season. Oh, how the mighty have fallen! I don't mind if they're always scrapping for survival, i just love the atmosphere on derby days ( that changes if we lose though )

Not to mention Nolan's disgusting challenge on Victor Anichibe and Barton's v Alonso (I think), it was v Liverpool anyway. Horrible season that.

Quite who thought Martins ( headless chicken) could play with anyone was a joke. We signed him from the bench at Milan........should have stayed there.

West Ham had a worse relegation story............Defoe...Lampard ..Cole..............( was Roeder the common denominator)?????????

As much a I like beating them every derby day I wouldn't really mind watching them ****ing rot in League 2. Just as amusing.

There will still be a north east derby when they go down, Sunlan Vs Middlesborugh <laugh>

With the 2 games Bruce has to save his job it could do them serious damage TBH and can see them getting dragged into the relegation zone.

As much as I dislike wigan(no particular reason, maybe there lack of support) I do like Matinez, he seems a genuine honest bloke.
Wigan have put in a some good perfomances and not got the rewards, against Blackburn for example and have just beat sunlan at the SOS.
I think they have a chances of scraping out of the relegation zone.

Blackburn are sinking with out a trace, Bolton are struggling to.

    To tight to call.

Bit of a double edged sword as far as Sunlan go, would be good to see them go just to mock them but at the same time would miss the banter and the derbies.

I cannot see Sunderland going down but stranger things have happened.

It would be really funny if they did get relegated, especially when you remember all the bragging they were doing about being "light years" ahead of us and going for Europe. I always feel sorry for the decent fans amongst them, but would love to see the rest of them having to visit Crystal Palace and Barnsley.
