Thomas-Asante for £2.5m would be a better signing than Ugbo for £4.5m. Nothing to suggest we are in for either mind
Kinda a no-brainer i'd say, seems to be that type of profile we are after too, pacey, powerful can press
I've been waiting to say something about their window. Very, very strange incomings and that Minteh lad they sold to Brighton for FFP reasons looks really good. Trippier, Almiron, Murphy and Longstaff are going to be regulars again at this rate.
They’ve got some class players in Botman, Bruno, Gordon and Isak but there’s a lot of bang average/****e. Absolutely crying out for a RW to replace Almiron/Murphy. Strange one, hopefully their summer window doesn’t get much better…
I’ve not seen much of Dodds really but his interactions with players always come across as really good, his body language is open, warm and welcoming. No wonder we retain players.
Just looking into Lenz and I'm positive that if he was signed last summer it would've been labelled as a first team signing. Has a similar pedigree to Hemir in terms of being at a top end European club and playing plenty games for their youth setup. 6ft1 ball playing defensive midfielder who has developed within the Red Bull system and has captained their youth sides. I predict he'll make a first team appearance this season.
He could have had at least three from memory. the one from halfway , I think it was that game, with Patto off his line?
WBA page has said they’ve rejected hull’s bid for Asante and want closer to £4m. I mean that seems reasonable to me
Not good enough imo definitely not for £4m. I’d be disappointed if that’s who we chose to lead our line next season.
