Hmm not for me really. Some of the more main stream sports like Tennis and swimming bore me tears anyway and stuff I never watch like Kayaking or something there is a reason I don’t watch it normally The boxing can be good but quite often mismatched but apart from that and some of the athletics I don’t think I could sit and watch the rest of it, each to their own as they say
Djokovic vs Nadal about to begin, for what could be the very last time. Just annoying this has been scheduled on an early Monday afternoon!
Good match for Murray/Evans…wish I’d watched it. Saved 5 match points. Norrie dropped out with injury
This is outrageous from Pidcock in the mountain biking. Despite suffering a puncture he's reeled in a 30 second gap to the leader and is in contention for gold!
That was epic from Pidcock! Great little move in the trees to take the lead and nearly push Koretzky off the line. Worth remembering that Pidcock had to pull out of the Tour de France with Covid just a couple of weeks ago. That, and the puncture, was the most incredible comeback.
That’s 2 golds today…reminds me of that Australian who said the British were good at sports where they could sit down
That cycling was so good I wonder if he has that spot in mind for an overtake or if it was just impulsive at that moment ?
So, the Parisians booing Pidcock, burning their own trains, and now a French woman interviewed on the BBC saying she had to leave Paris as the people there are normally so unpleasant. What a shock! My own experiences of French people are normally positive, but Parisians... not positive at all.
Heard on the radio that Adam Peatty has tested positive for Coronavirus. So it seems as if he was unwell during his Silver Medal race. Might explain why he was noticeably slower than his own world record
