The problem in this country is that any tosser can call themselves an estate agent, there’s no qualifications needed, any ****er can do it.

Same here. Totally, totally frustrating dealing with them. I don't trust any of them. The property and selling and buying business in this country is seriously flawed and could do with a severe overhaul, and everyone knows it too.

 

Not sure how far into town they go, but we always found Clubleys to be spot on. Both when renting and buying.

It’s the surveyors who are the biggest problem in house transactions.

 

We bought a house, put the offer in, it was accepted but literally half an hour later the agent rang to say a previous offer slightly higher had come back in so vendors going with them. Half a ****ing hour !!! As soon as we get like Scotland the better, offer accepted, done deal…. Bastards

 

We’ve actually bought one two doors away from that one and 30grand cheaper
