I don’t think anyone wants him to do badly. Like Allsopp last season, when someone’s not good enough, people will comment. It’s up to him to prove doubters wrong.
I actually enjoyed that way more than rosieball. Some neat passing moves at times and we are not being walked over by a strong team (apart from the score line obvs). Omur is class.
Sloppy goals out of nothing was our downfall last season, as much as or more than the regular impotence in our attacking play. Need to improve in that area especially early season while we (hopefully) get a squad together
Don't think it looks hugely different ATM tbh. Still too much passing back when in attacking positions., and some hairy ****ing about in dangerous positions. Like FB, they haven't got out of 2nd gear. And worryingly bad defending at times again. Hopefully they field a reserve side 2nd half and we can get some positivity back. But more than that, we so desperately need a shed load of quality signings as we're nowhere near and with no depth.
