Anyone having problems with trying to buy a pass for the game?

 

I think the effort is there, just think they struggle with the out of possession side of things - they switch off n dont track runners, they get caught ball watching

 

Looking forward to this one, pleased weve got a smaller bench as good to give some of these lads 90 minutes

 

Are we not reading too much into whose not in the squad? Have they not just split them so the others will play on Tuesday?

I think the potential is there just not consistent enough. Also gets caught out too often dithering on the ball.

Maybe I’m just frustrated by last season but the number of times I saw him jogging when his opposite number was running really pissed me off. This seemed to happen a lot when he’d lost possession and they were breaking into our box

 

Just kicked in.

 

Maybe that was what he was coached/advised to do.

If we brought in a natural CDM who you’d assume went into the Xl as the 6 who else would play? Only really room for one of Neil or Browne naturally unless we shove them both in and play Browne further forward but he’s not really a 10

 

Interesting to see that Browne is playing higher up in midfield than Neil. Looks like they see Neil as the number 6 in the team
