Totally agree. Pretentious, boring and bizarre (not in a good way). Who the **** thought this was a good thing to put in the opening ceremony?
Started off really cringey, but it's grown on me. I think it's been a bit spectacular really, the horse on the water was superb, and it's got a story/theme running through it, albeit a bit abstract. Despite the **** weather, I think they've pulled it off, vive la France!
Just subscribed to discovery plus for the month. Only £3.99 and they have a ton of channels showing live events. Watching a bit of the handball and flicking to the rowing
I've had to stick the hockey on. Judo the only option on Iplayer. Not watching it fully but GBR 2-0 against Spain.
As feared, limited again... https://talksport.com/olympics/1982865/bbc-olympics-paris-free-stream-discovery/
I wouldn't usually watch the Judo but my boss is a 6'4" ex-medal winner and we had some of his Japanese mates here at Christmas. He's off to Paris on Tuesday so I'll be looking out for him in the crowd ... ... no idea why we do that tbh, daft when I see him in real life most days
It is the weirdest thing isnt it. I often look out for a couple of lads I have coached who are in prem squads. Then I think I can probably text them later. Same with my lad and his band, youtube content and whatever I will watch yet he is in the room next door!
