In their infinite wisdom Northern Gas have taken one lane out just beyond Morrisons next to the 4 way lights at Skillings Lane. The only signage says 'give way to oncoming traffic'.. Might be a bit messy at tea time.. Was congested at 4... dont know what 530 will look like...!@!

Are they the ones with no one working all the way from South Cave to Ferriby.... with cameras switched on...?.... Spring / Summer 2025 I'm afraid...

So from the Ouse Brisge what is it 3 years and counting... you have 8 miles of no restrictions to South Cave, then 8 miles of road works at 40 for the best part of 9 months, plus nighttime closures in the same area which will be a ball ache for evening games for home and away supporters, then 4 miles and a bit from Ferriby until you you get to St Andrews Quay with no restrictions, then the Castle Street project/...

Yes, could have done it at the same time as the recent 40mph limit Brough to Melton new barriers? However central gov (the Tories) have funded all these improvements and repairs from Goole to Castle Street to the value of half a billion? Should be way better infrastructure through East Yorkshire, including South of Beverley in about one more year?

Try heading into town on Roger Millard Way about 8am, no idea why the inside lane has been closed off for over a month, never seen any plant or workers there during the whole time.

Announced today that the Ouse Bridge works have been delayed again until mid Autumn. I’ll believe it when I see it.
