Its a sign of how far we have come in the last month that I am pretty deflated that we didn't win. We certainly controlled the game 2nd half and didn't really press home our advantage. Scariliy, I wasn't too concerned when we were 2 down - what...?!!!
Just how I feel/felt Prem, but if we had lost it wouldn't have burned me either. We'll be fine this season, and next? Who knows, but the future is bright.
Just back from game. Happy to take a point from 2 down, Watford were busy around their own area but didn't really look awesome as such! We seemed to have a few with heavy legs for the first 20 mins. Cant see either side being to concerned about relegation after xmas on this show, but seen better.
City were probably knackered after fighting hard against Southampton? Rest up boys, we need to **** Boro hard this Saturday.
Under Millen we would have gone on to concede a hatful having gone 2-0 down, so immense credit to the manager and the players for the fighting spirit and refusal to be beaten. We are now above Ipswich and Forest and we are fast catching the likes of Portsmouth, Peterborough, Barnsley and co. With Doncaster losing we've pulled another point clear of the very bottom but we need to keep it going against Boro on Saturday.
