Still can't believe I managed to get tickets.

'Tickets for Bob Dylan's first Edinburgh appearance in 15 years sold out within minutes of going on sale this morning, Friday, July 19th.
The legendary US singer-songwriter is to perform at the city's Usher Hall on November 5th and 6th, but fans hoping to see the Blowin' in the Wind singer face disappointment after tickets for both shows were snapped up in double-quick time.'

For anyone who has a spare twenty this is a track from the album he's promoting ....

Watching a bio of Linda Ronstadt, didn't know the first thing about her before but she had a fantastic and varied career. Always taking risks and pulling it off.

    Easy on the eye too.

This song is over 100 years old, and has been covered by hundreds of people in various genres and various lyrics.

No one knows where it came from, although obviously Gospel, so people can choose what lyrics they sing.

This is a great performance from a really underrated singer ...

I liked how when she wanted to do an album in Spanish to honour her Mexican heritage the label were dead against it and begged her not to do it, she did it anyway and it became the biggest selling non-English album in history.

Smooth Operator was on the radio when I was driving to the shops with Mrs K yesterday. I was being a smooth operator and serenading her with my velvet like voice. Mrs K didn’t appreciate it and said I sounded like a strangled cat. She just doesn’t appreciate true musicianship when she hears it.
