Did . Terrance the leader and the albino burmese python eliminated 23 of the others , because of room parameters.
It a phrase woke types use when something is brought up that they think shouldn’t be. Normally followed by a request for you to explain what you mean by woke. For normal people it is a method of attracting your dog’s attention. Which in the case of my two is generally ignored unless you have a biscuit or some other treat they can see.
It means that a poster's distaste with transgender ppl is shoehorned into a discussion where they haven't been mentioned or had any relevance for the previous 168 pages.
Coaching is coaching.....but at different levels. I coached some very successful academy teams in Rugby League, does that mean I should have been able to get a job in Rugby Union of equal standing, afterall the ball is the same shape? I'm currently coaching a very good little U10s football team, does that mean I can just step into a manager role with a senior mens team? I've no experience of coaching football to men. No experience in Rugby Union. They are totally different versions of the same game mate. This is nothing other than woke media thinking they need to do this because it is what people want to hear. I would be surprised if she even wants the job. Ladies football is a great watch at times but it is nothing like senior mens football in terms of physicality or skill level. When I was working on the project to get the Broncos into the new stadium at Wimbledon the football club sacked their manager. I was with the CEO the day the story broke about Emma Hayes being in line for the job. I asked him what had happened because the day before he had told me the shortlist and she was not on it. His response was 'She hasnt even been in touch mate, it will be her f***ing agent trying to get more publicity for her'.
In an ideal World you are right. But what would happen, in any dressing room not just England, is that you drop one and the rest would then turn gangster on you. In the case of England we would end up at a tournament with Tom Eaves up front because players stick together and she would have to drop a lot of people before someone became a scab! If players dont want a manager they make sure the manager is gone. Ask Shota.
Given the women’s rugby union team do far better in the home nations than the men’s team and have won their World Cup twice to the men’s one, should the women’s management team replace the men’s one? Though it is led by a man with two women specialist coaching assistants.
No it shouldnt, because as I have stated they are different versions of the same game. Unless the women's management team is highly experienced in men's International Rugby Union having played or coached men's rugby union for a number of years. We need to stop this thinking that Male and Female versions of the same sport equals the same standard. I know of only two places it applies and that is Horse Racing Jockeys and Mixed Doubles at Wimbledon. You could argue Snooker and Darts but they are pub games and women should not be allowed in pubs. (Joke, before I am cancelled by the equality mob)
Clear as mud. Try again. Is it A - transgender specific? B - any irrelevant post on a thread? C - distaste with any comment irrespective of its relevance?
The phrase "dog whistle" is shorthand for a phrase that may sound innocuous to some people, but which also communicates something more insidious either to a subset of the audience or outside of the audience’s conscious awareness — a covert appeal to some noxious set of views.
Basically, it means bringing up a group of people (often a minority but not always) in a conversation that wasn’t about them in the first place. This is a good reference point. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_whistle_(politics)
