If we sold Hume for £12m+ and replaced with him with Pembele I wouldn’t be too worried. Really think he’ll come good for us but the problem for some of these lads is we have so many options they get rotated at the slightest poor performance which isn’t helping. If we were to play 3 at the back with wing backs then Ba would be RWB for me and it wouldn’t even be close.
He has the potential to be a cracking player for us, a lot of teams in Europe were after him in January. My club had been in discussions with Leeds about him, we really rated him He came to us at a time when we were a mess, he didnt have the match sharpness, was thrown in and didnt exactly have a manager to help coach/develop him
Lacks defensive awareness, seems a step or 2 behind. I still feel theres a player there, he just never looks confident at the minute so hopefully thatll come as he continues to settle here
Yep agreed. Only worry was the two times where he’s inexplicably backed off an attacker all the way to inside our own box. Really weird.
