Well I think everyone might feel the Hodet thing is a cover up but everything else seems fair . Maybe time to look for some new strikers?
Isn't this a work permit/ number of certain types of players issue? It seems much more complicated these days with recruitment and actually getting a balanced official squad.
Ha yes maybe that is the correct word! Maybe try to buy players where we don't have to worry about such things? Feel a bit for Tom as potentially could have been a striker worth some use.
Haven't seen anything to suggest that, but then there hasn't been much to see at all. Given that his contract was agreed back in January, I would have thought any such issue would have been resolved by now.
I was at the game. Lots of possession but did nothing with it. So reminiscent of the middle third or so of last season. Shooting boots AWOL save for a decent Andrews shot in the second half. Handbrake definitely on. Uninspiring performance. Still, I had a good day out: beers in Faversham, voting in a local photography competition, excellent company with a Gillingham supporting mate, met an old pal on the train home, and all of the trains ran on time!
