Either ignore this or stand by for a long boring post. This was a great single played well by a band with real Charisma. Shortly after it made the top of the charts they came to my club, Rock City, and it sold out in minutes, 2200 tickets. The pre-gig buzz was incredible and the girls were great, I was stage door that night so spent quite some time with them. They went on stage to a rapturous ovation, played two hours of L2 material and an encore of their massive hit. The epitome of a one hit wonder ... ... the support band were miles better and I can't remember who it was
Personal post. I have posted on here about my lads band in the past. Bit of an update. They have been gigging like mad across the midlands, into yorkshire and manchester, and getting invited back to birmingham a lot. They have about 9 of their own tracks now and an EP about to land. Out of the blue today my lad gets a call from a London based promo company! They were tipped the hint by somebody from radio x who is a fan. Turns out they have had an hour or two as a team listening and they have invited them to open a Soho gig in Sept. If it goes well there will be a conversation about signing on their roster. Obviously the boy is buzzing. A step closer, but they are working their arses off so fair play. Still not my cup ot tea however, they have asked me to stand the door at their next gig, which is a Church charity do with 200 tickets sold @Smug in Boots might need a friend to help...
Class that. I've been following your updates and enjoyed the songs you posted a while back. You say it's not your cup of tea, but it's definately right up my street. When the EP comes out, post a link to purchase mate, I would definately buy one. Well done them, wish them every success.
Wow, I never usually try to get tickets for big name acts but I had two phones, a laptop and a PC on the go this morning. This may well be the last ever chance to see someone who is unique and known worldwide. Both nights, of 2200 capacity, were sold out within 5 minutes I know many don't like him, or get why he's so important, but he's one of the most covered performer the world has ever known. I don't think we'll really understand how significant he is until he's gone and the tributes pour in. All of the top musicians acknowledge his work and some would say, genius. Sorry to waffle on, I'm just really pleased and amazed I managed to get tickets Here are your order details: Tickets These items will be posted to you. Bob Dylan - Rough and Rowdy Ways on Tuesday 5th November, 2024 at 19:30 Usher Hall, Edinburgh
Brilliant Smug, as you may know I am a massive long term fan. My missus sent me a text yesterday with the details and as usual I dawdled and it looks like I have missed out. There are VIP tickets left at £310 and £258, bloody expensive night out. According to reports from USA, his performances throughout the tour have been brilliant. Hope you have a great night
Well done getting them Smug, be class that...quite intimate with only 2200. Dylan is on Sky Arts tonight, from 9.00pm.
