Not the one kid I met about a thousand years ago, A very young friend of my daughter.
"Are you her Dad" Yes, I am. "My Dad doesn't live with us either".
It was so matter of fact, that I somehow had the impression, any teasing about Dad's was probably "you're weird, your Dad lives with you".

glad to see the back of brown cars. a relative of a friend had a brown e-type jaguar. brown. e-type. that's a bit like taking cheryl cole's backside and drawing flowers all over it, or like doodling on the mona lisa. mental.

on the garden swing seats though, they're still about, but i wouldn't have one with patterned material. hell no. thinking of getting a plain one for my living room, actually.

Hairy fannies also. I grew up with them during my late teenage years in the 1980s. Then when married, a trimmed landing strip was what I got used to. Re-entered single life end of last year and even middle-aged women in their 50s, my age range, are waxed or shaved away. Not a complaint, just an observation of what's disappeared alongside reliant robins and phone cards.

Know what you mean, when you're confronted by a full bush it really does explain the phrase "Muff diving" doesn't it? :emoticon-0148-yes:

That's a good thing to know. I'm lucky enough to live somewhere with the emergency pull strings which is a great comfort. I've had to use it once and I can tell you it does it's job.

That's another thing you don't see much of these days. A pull string light switch.

I had to do cpr on my wife a few years ago, I sort of knew what to do, but it’s the scariest thing I’ve ever had to do, thankfully kept her going til the paramedics came, this is a really good idea using the Alexa for help, you have probably less than a minute to start cpr before it’s too late, everyone should learn how to do it.
