7-1 in the end. Had to look on the city site again to find out who some of the young guns were. McGuinness played 60 mins, but no sign of Ng. Plenty of mentions of Kpakio in the first 45. Made two goals and a few other chances. A very dynamic attacking right back.
Again, you have to put the result into context given the oposition, but there's a definite change in style. We need to see that built on and executed against better opposition. Bulut refers to Davies as a striker which he is not. He refers to Etete who IMO won’t make the grade. City desperately need as he suggests a striker of a higher level. It can’t be a journeyman (aka a Hughill) or a gamble from the lower leagues (aka a Watters) but a proven marksman who can’t fit into Bulut’s style of play (aka a Glatzel).

Heard a rumour (no verified source) Wintle may be offered for sale. He hasn’t featured much in pre seasons.
A good honest individual that's had his moments with us. If Erol gets his transfer targets, Wintle might struggle to get regular starts. I'm sure he just wants to play football so perhaps a move would suit all parties. Always liked him though.
I think you only need one of Ralls and Wintle. An OK player, but if Erol is going to play Ramsey deeper, sign another CM and with the youngsters coming through it's going to be a crowded position.
