No thanks to Broja. Had a good 6/7 game spell mid-season, but otherwise looked pretty disinterested last time he was here. Indeed, Ralph very publicly questioned him a couple of times.
Agree but maybe he’s matured a bit since then and realised this could be the place to re start his career. Plus rumours are that he wants a move back to Southampton?
Broja completely depends on the nature and structure of the deal. If it is true that Chelsea only want to sell for £25m-£30m then it just isn't for us. But if it could be a loan with option/obligation depending on performance then it could work well. Loan with an obligation to buy for £20m if we stay up and he plays 70% of games and scores 12 goals? Something along those lines.
Please can we hang on to Charlie. Great player and we don't have to spend to get him. He is also the perfect replacement for Stuart Armstrong.
I hope there is more to our scouting than looking at players who briefly played well for us in the past. With regards to strikers someone on SW said last summer we were linked with the guy about to sign for Man United from Bologna. And I am pretty sure we were linked with Hojlund the summer he moved to Atalanta instead. Our position either in the championship or struggling year on year in the premier league made recruitment trickier. But it suggests the player identification might be there? But there are still persistent links to former players
Love the guy personally, excellent attitude and seems determined to win at all costs. Hell of a player. Definitely keep
Given the choice between keeping Charly or keeping Sulemana (though I'm not saying it is a choice), I'd be keeping Charly every day of the week.
Charly every time, he ‘wears the shirt’. I’m not an anti Sulemana person tbh but something in his demeanour gets in the way for me. Could be he’s a totally different guy on the training ground but so far, rarely produces on match day. Such a shame.
Leicester in for Matias Soule, thought he would be out of the bottom feeders of the PLs reach based on his season at Frosinone
West ham look set to open negotiations with Manchester United for Wan-Bissaka. Man Utd want a minimum of £15Million.
