To sign decent players you have to appear an attractive proposition. A club that has lost all its quality loan players (no fault) and is selling all its best players is the opposite of attractive. Someone on one of the other threads talked about promotion we’ll be lucky to stay up. We will get some cast offs and a few kids on loan Facts.
Why not wait and see who we get over the line? If there's any truth in the Yoksulu, Bree and coming close to Moore suggests they're looking at.proven championship pedigree, and then obviously there will be the loans from PL clubs too. Plenty water to flow under the bridge before we need to be making dire predictions I'm sure.
I'm not being naive. I'm just waiting and seeing before I jump to conclusions. I'm also looking at who's.linked whilst also remembering we only had delap.in at this stage last season. There's a lot to be done, no doubt and I'm starting to think the rebuild might stretch to January but I'll panic in a few weeks, not now.
I understand why you are naive you are hoping for the best and hoping it will all be ok in the end. The club is looking a shambles from the outside I know because I talk to plenty of none Hull City supporters living in London. By the way I realise it’s first world problems.
It's deffo a bigger clearing of the decks and restructure than I think any of us were expecting, but the time to judge is when it's nearing completion, not mid way through.
If anyone is interested, Tan Kesler has done an interview with Mike White re the transfers, it is being broadcast on Humberside Sportstalk shortly. Never mind, wrong thread.
Sheffield Wednesday have signed Nathanial Chalobah on a free transfer. Oxford have signed Polish international winger Zemy Placheta following his release from Swansea. Speaking of Swansea, they brought in two these last few days, exciting South korean attacking midfielder Eom Ji-Sung from Gwangju FC and defensive midfielder Goncalo Franco from Moireirense. Both have signed four year deals. Northampton have a new look front line of Tom Eaves and former Man U striker James Wilson.
Yeah I'm glad Watson is now settled at York, he had to club hop for a bit but he put in some great performances for York City last season and he earned himself a two year deal with an option of a third.
I know football gets glamorised, especially with the Euros, but it can't be an easy life at that level. Being the back up on a short term contract at Wrexham and Doncaster, not playing, and wondering where your next contract comes from. It's great that he gets some security at York even though he only played 9 times for them.
