I think the lad enjoys being here but if someone offers to double or treble your wages its a difficult one to refuse. I truly hope you are correct though.

If £ 30m is what they want and there is no wiggle room on that and they really stick to it then the club is 100% transformed when it comes to playing hardball in the transfer market!

Not sure anyone will pay more than £20m for him.

 

The current climate players are going for astronomical prices.

Re the Clarke speculation - if clubs don’t pay our asking price, they will be swiftly told to **** off.

Harte & Clarke will be aware of this, which is why Clarke is focusing on doing his job for us this season.
