Unbelievable! Lets send our homeless people to Hull! Time to start rebuilding the city walls.

It definitley is amazing how even the Council (of Croydon) which is supposedly full of intellectuals can mistake us for a seaside town, and having seen the article in the paper, they even drew up a comparison table, obviously showing us in a bad light apart from giving a quick mention of the rising gun crime in Croydon. Still at least we can expect such bone headedness from the press.

    Seaside town?

Shall we all go down Hessle foreshore for a paddle in the Humber then...? Bring a Lilo and we'll see who gets washed out to see quickest...

from what i remember Hessle foreshore was a great place rocks and dead birds everywhere plenty for the kids to play with instead of rats and needles of Croydon!

I've been back down there to see my origins and lets just say its a bit of a ****hole what I saw, plus I had to travel through other South London beauty-spots like Brixton get there, I think any of their residents would count themselves in heaven if they were lucky enough to get housed in Hull

    THE Neil Buckley, 42 ?

    Played 69 games scored 4 times, 1986 - 1991.

I thought he might have given his former employers a plug.

I find usually people who slag off Hull have either never been here, or have been here for five minutes and maybe walked down Anlaby Road on the way to the match, and have actually no idea what Hull is like at all

Also that Channel 4 programme that put us as worst place to live and seemed to limit their filming to Bransholme and Orchard Park and other deprived areas of the city.

I think its telling aswell that a lot of people who travel about come back to Hull and wouldn't swap it for anywhere in the world, I'm not a globetrotter as such but have been to most big towns and cities in the UK and wouldn't swap any of them for Hull
