Great match between Paolini and Vekic, one of the best I've seen this tournament. Proper neck and neck right up to the end. Glad Paolini won, she's very likeable.
I'll go with Medvedev in 5 sets, feels like when I've seen Alcaraz he's been having to dig deep to win and it might not work against Medvedev who's a tough nut. Agree about Djokovic, I don't know much about the bloke he's playing but I'd be surprised if he could beat a well rested Djokovic.
It's nice to see the man from Alcaraz beating the arrogant twat 2-0 . . . . hopefully he'll continue this hammering
Looks like it's going to be straight sets to me, he's absolutely pasting him. Not like Djokovic has been bad and can find another gear he's just come up against someone better than him in every department.
I was until his idiotic arrogance (and utter contempt for the rules that he thought should only apply to everybody else) was revealed in Australia during covid
Jack Draper going strong in the US Open. Dan Evans on shortly against De Minaur, should be a good battle. Evans is great to watch never a dull moment.
Don't rate Coco Gauff at all, overhyped. She's a scrambler and works hard but that's about it. Sometimes it's enough to win a tournament.
Anyone who abuses the ball boys/girls in any way or hits a ball at the line judges can permanently **** off as far as I'm concerned. I think Putintseva has past form for similar dickhead behaviour.
