Not that I should help you out here but, how about this - you have to register for a party in the US at some point I assume. We don’t do that here. Perhaps raise a question about when you do that and how often you have to and whether you actively have to change it? Or what the reasons might be that someone might register for the opposite. That would be a starting point if you really wanted to dismiss the idea that he was a registered Republican as propaganda. I don’t understand that registration system myself. It’s got something to do with primaries. But I don’t know if there is a way of preventing people registering for the “other side”. What consequences there are etc But you are just interested in being an unthinking cult member with no original thoughts or opinions. You are in no position to accuse people of propaganda. Everyone is being a bit silly really. It’s a **** thing that happened. We don’t know the motives or leanings of the shooter (and probably never will). The right claiming foul over divisive rhetoric is deeply ironic. The main thing is that some innocent guy has been killed. Everyone involved in the ****show over the pond needs to take a good long look at themselves.

He directly insulted his voter base and admitted to assaulting women prior to his first election and won off the back of votes of people who thought he would stand up to them and cared about them despite being an aloof, selfish billionaire. Oh I agree, the phrase that when the US sneezes, the UK catches a cold is very relevant, and far worse now with the advent of social media. It does seem to be a more advanced case in the States right now though. We just need to hope it’s not terminal.
