Was abroad, all the troops listened on BFBS, at the end of 90 mins they switched to their normal broadcasting schedule so we didn't find out the result until later in the evening, it's actually gone down in the annals of BBC history.
So... where is everyone watching it? I managed to get lucky and land four tickets for the O2 Arena screening in London, should be an experience watching the TV with 15,000 people at an indoor arena
Watching at home with the nipper. Bit of a **** KO time really. Feeling pretty confident too. Think we're finding form at the right time and the experience of losing the last one should be hugely beneficial.
Watching at home. First half with Mrs No7, then from about 60 mins on my own when she gets fed up of my shouting, swearing and hopefully cheering and goes upstairs
Agree, wish it had been Saturday night so more people could've headed out to enjoy it or been able to enjoy at home without the working week the next day
I’ll be watching with fellow (former )Brit’s and saints fans in christchurch. Somewhere warm with good coffee. Perfect 7am kick off time for us. The 4am kickoffs have been awful - with extra time it hasn’t been worth going back to bed. My kids have no idea, they’ve only experienced england getting to semi finals and finals. That’s a power in its own right.
Not sure where im watching it. Seems like if you want to watch out then you need to be in the pub by 1/2pm so be a mess by kick off and everyone is now old so has kids/responsibilities so nobody wants to do that or host at theirs. England will win 100%. Spain score in first 30mins, England equalise by half time and England get the winner in last 10 mins. Statues of Southgate pop up all over the place
I do hope England win as I think it will really lift the nation. We really need something to bring the population together and give them hope after some difficult and decisive years. Come on England.
Agreed. Going to let our two stay up and go in late to school. Probably get a telling off from the teacher for doing so, but considering they spent Friday watching Wreck it Ralph and Cars, they don't really have the moral high ground.
I am hoping I can get back from Priddy Folk Festival in time. As I only live 20 minutes up the road and my shift finishes at 4:30 I should be fine but...
Ladies and Gentlemen. Our time is now. 58 years of lows, and 'oh so many nears' is coming to an end. To quote Alexa "Oh my giddy aunt, football's coming home"
Lol she is working till 3pm, then BBQ in garden and from 6 we have Three Lions and Sweet Caroline on repeat. Confident we are going to do it in normal time - we live in a cul-de-sac and a couple of us are already planning on meeting in the close at 10pm to wake up the rest of the close. It's only friggin coming home!!!!!!! COME ON ENGLAND!
