Apparently the transfer window in Europe didn't open until yesterday so maybe we will see some action soon. <whistle>

That has got to be down to our scouting and referral network - it would be very limiting to rely on just the players Bulut might know.

Loads of overseas players are clamouring to play in the English pyramid. We all hear about the big names that become associated with the top Prem clubs, but there's literally hundreds across the water that would jump at the chance of Championship football as a rung on the ladder.

The answer to it is back to my first sentence - our network needs to find them not just rely on their agents pushing them forward..

A good network as you state is essential.

Why can’t it be us who unearths a genuine talent? Some clubs though are better at it then others.:emoticon-0138-think

Don’t know if mentioned but Warnock brought in Bryson and Grujic who were excellent.
There were a few other random loanees also that season - Liam Feeney, Jamie Ward, Traore and Wildschutt - but not half as effective as the first two mentioned.

Traore didn't play much but I remember he did a good job marking his namesake of Wolves. I was surprised he didn't play more often.

The others really didn't do much and spent most of their time benchwarming.

Why isn't Jason Koumas top of everyone's list.?

A pleasure to watch for the season.

You’re not wrong. He was outstanding - that equaliser v Leeds early doors was epic as was a free kick winner at Leicester plus more galore - a real joy to watch:emoticon-0148-yes:

A languid style, not unlike Whitts.
And like Whitts, could pick a pass and rifle a shot.
