I suspect a lot of Asians and Africans will be supporting England (if they bother watching). This is where the soft diplomacy of cultural exports (premier League) will help. I'm sure the effect I see in the US or Americans supporting England has to happen in Asia and Africa too.
If England want to play this style, then Kane is the wrong type of striker. at the moment he just looks like he's stood, alone upfront. Needs a striker to make the runs and put pressure on the CBs
Kane, clearly half fit, can't run, selfish that he's taking a place in the team when he's obviously not up to speed to make any difference.
Keep trying to play it out from the back from a goal kick and they're not good enough to do it; they knock out about dangerously before booting it long anyway. Just push them upfield and boot it long straight away, at least this gets the play upfield. Win possession and then pass it about, they're only pressing in the final third, they're letting us have it in the middle third.
Three shots in the first half... That's far too reckless. Hoping for one shot, one goal in the second half for a nice stable one nil victory.
