If he's doing well then fair play. But if he is replaced, the club just need to ensure it is with the right fit to help take the club to another level. The last thing we need in a long term project is change for the sake of change.
If we replace him with better, then I'll take it. But an experiment at this stage is exactly that. The club need to weigh up the options carefully. Any new manager would need to do better than top 4 and a cup final to improve on Howe (and that was acheived with a mostly Mike Ashley squad). No pressure.
Some reports stating our owners are looking at options for a multi-club structure, with teams in France, Portugal & Belgium being eyed up to form part of the group. This could be a huge part of the development if it goes ahead.
So Staveley and Mehrdad moving on to invest in Spurs, potentially with other partners from the Gulf? Is this why they sped up their departure?
Well at least we know they can’t use PIF. Can’t see any value at Spurs to make a profit. They are in debt to the hilt. And not an awful lot of potential for growth.
On the Mitchell front I am liking what I am hearing from him. Sounds to me like he is going to “manage” the situation and not let things go. Wonder what Howes thoughts are.
