It's amazing that Speakman is such a terrible man yet has managed to attract Browne, keep Rigg and appoint Le Bris ... ... almost as if there's a hidden side that those who dislike him never get to see. Here's a short clip from the talk-in, looks pretty hostile .... https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4ODkqzIdhvk?feature=share
It looks like it's just two blokes messing about but I've seen loads try to do the same stuff and it just dies a death ... ... I could watch them hit each other with frying pans for the whole show
They both look young there. Used to love watching shooting stars as a kid. Bob is class to watch on would I lie to you as he tells this most completely ridiculous and absurd stories that there is no way they are possibly true bit then he reveals that it was all true.
Love watching Bob on his fishing programme with Paul Whitehouse...they talk utter bollocks most of the time but are so funny...the fishings usually quite interesting as well.
Speakman is very good at those things. He speaks well in my opinion, keeps it light hearted, knows when to laugh at himself and is self aware enough to know what the fans are thinking. He doesn't shy away from an answer but isn't afraid to disagree either if he thinks differently. Ultimately, I want a person in that role who has the courage of his convictions and believes in their way of doing the job. It might come across as arrogant in some situations but that's better than dithering and trying to appease thousands of other people.
Yes hopefully Bob, there's no point bringing someone in who'll argue with everything the club is trying to do ... ... that would be totally idiotic. "toe the line" Cambridge Dictionary, Definition - ''to do what you are expected to do without causing trouble for anyone.'
Wish your mate Nigel had banned you from his club so you’d give him the deserved level of hateful ****e instead of digging at Speakman.
Can't be bothered arguing with someone who got kicked out of a part of the stadium for abusing Speakman. Embarrassing behaviour, not worth my time.
