This is actually quite enjoyable. Makes a nice change after struggling to stay awake for the last few games.
I can’t get over the amount of space we are getting. Practically every player is receiving the ball in space without pressure. Their midfield is marking space rather than players. If we don’t create chances when given this amount of freedom, we don’t deserve to win.
Foden is deadly in that position and we've all been waiting to see that from him. This is the best we have played so far in this tournament. Much more positive and enjoyable to watch.
Bellingham still looking well off the pace despite the rest of the team looking better. Want us to score whilst we are on top. Would be classic England to play **** all tournament but somehow get through and then finally start playing better and lose.
I was just wondering whether England would have been much better all tournament if Bellingham’s obvious fatigue had been acknowledged…
Kane much more involved, but everytime I see him over on the left or right I’m just thinking that we need him in the middle.
For the first time this tournament, I can say I enjoyed watched that England performance. I think Bellingham still looks leggy and I would far rather he was a sub, but otherwise, pretty good.
Good half. BUT, we’re only level thanks to a penalty that probably shouldn’t have been given. Foden been a whisker away and unlucky twice though so at least we are actually having attempts with our possession. The Dutch look dangerous on the break though and we still have no threat on the left.
Mainoo is a phenomenon. The boys are playing well! Such a pleasure. Foden proving me wrong. Now just needs to score the winner.
