A mate of mine has 2 tickets for the match in Dusseldorf tonight having paid £360 each, including flights, but he didn't realise when he bought them months ago that it was going to be the same day as his wedding If you're interested, he is looking for someone to take his place . . . . it's at Durham Registry Office, at the same time as the match starts - 8pm. The bride's name is Sarah, she's 5'7" & quite attractive. P.m. for more details, but you'll have to hurry
Trippier again. Glad to be in semi but way we have played have sucked a lot of the enjoyment out of it.
Haway lads, this is your time. Patience, cool heads, concentration. The Dutch will want to come at us early, stay solid, dont fret. Get control in the middle through Rice and Mainoo and I feel the game is ours. Possession is everything, as Spain showed in the second half last night. Haway England.
Pissing down in Dortmund, greasy pitch, plenty of low hard shots makes it a lottery. I'll take England to win 2-0.
Everyone needs to be on the top of their game. The Dutch have seen what Saka can do and he could be doubled up on. If that's the case, it's up to Foden, Bellingham and Kane to take the game to them. Keep it tight at the back and midfield and hopefully we can get something out of the game. Haway Jordan lad!
We were slightly better last time out with three at the back and two wing backs, even if playing trippier as left wing back is nonesensical. However, with Guehi back he reverts back to the preferred line up which was so abject in first four games. Trippier has been utterly awful on the left and really stifled our attacking options down that side but he won't change it as its more solid at the back. Remember when we last in a final he played Walker as RB and then Trippier in front of him. Caution, caution, caution. Southgate can play only with absolute caution and, unless we get lucky and win this torunament, that's what he'll be remembered as - a cautious coach who squandered the extremely talented squad he had at his disposal.
Think it will be an edgy game which might just go the distance. 1-1, England win on pens. Jude to score.
Foden has been quiet so time for a big game from him hopefully. When I first saw him playing for England’s under-?? his decision making was exceptional. More of that please.
