Acun hitting reset doesn't mean there's no long term planning... For all we know Walter relished the idea of a full rebuild when approached. At least he'll have his stamp on things from the start. Should hopefully prevent us from 'wasting' the players we do have? I'd be gobsmacked if nothing's been going on behind the scenes for quite some time and I imagine there's a long term plan in mind. They've been exploring developing the stadium and surrounding land etc for example...
Don’t you think it’s a bit soon to be writing us off just now? Take a break for a couple of weeks and see how we look then.
Only a feeling but I feel consolidation would be good but more likely a fight at the bottom of the table. Just don't feel confident for next season at all.
Took a screenshot to save you the trouble of bookmarking Anyway. Don't you think he gave the manager everything in January in a serious attempt at getting out of the Championship, hence the reason he gave Rosenior the heave-ho and threw a hissy fit at his Q&A. Greaves,Philogene and Seri(if he goes) are going to cost serious money to replace in terms of quality, will the money be forthcoming to replace them in terms of their quality and contribution to our play or is the intention to backfill with Loanees for a season? How much is good money for Seri ?and how much 'good money' did we get for Docherty??? There's going to need to be some SERIOUS work and investment over the next few weeks just to put a starting 11 out on the pitch,if not,it's a **** show for sure!!! I remain hopeful but some posters questions are valid and posters are entitled to ask them...
I suppose you have to ask the following: Who booted you out? And, Are they still here? If the second answer is a honest NO, then he’s got a clean slate, and in theory, so should the club
One of the main problems with a big squad overhaul is that when signing new players there are always some that don't work even if on paper they seem a perfect fit. The more new players signed the more that won't work.
My apologies and we're the definition of 'badly run'. Are we any stronger on the field than we were in 2022?
Not at the moment given the exodus but I'm happy to wait until the season starts and we've recruited before I make judgement.
They need to explore developing the stadium and surrounding land a tad quicker, two and a half year and counting. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
But that's not acceptable considering we've had 2 years worth of investment and blown all our FFP headroom.
