I'm completely ignorant when it comes to other teams players tbh. Is Browne any good? What type of player is he?
Turned down a 3 year deal at the club he’s spent his whole career at. Seems a bit odd. Anyone know why?
Still had a few comparing we didn't extend his contract right through last season. Good bloke gave his all when here but was pretty obvious early on after his move that the club had done the right thing and he was knackered!
Same here, he's exactly what we need. Would be a massive show of intent if we brought him in. Apparently turned down big money at Preston as well.
The lad who replied to bronzebummer said his mate got texted a daft link so maybe not Browne. Cannon, Parrott or Johnston maybe?
I see Charlie Cresswell has eventually signed for Toulouse after it looked like the deal was off last week. Linked here numerous times in the past…
Thought he'd at least get a good League One move. He was horrific last season mind, think his injury here has finished him. Good player for us and was moved on at the correct time.
Sceptical on this Browne thing given our reported wage structure. Sounds like he is just about as good a direct upgrade we can hope for in a free transfer though, so would like to think the club are having a look/making a move.
Wants a change, hes played over 400 games for them so it sounds like he wants a change at this stage of his career
Hes very good, been a top 10 championship CM last few yrs. Pretty sure hes won prestons play of the season a few times as well. He can do a bit of everything, can break up play, good in possession, chips in with goals and the aspect i really like is his ability to cover the ground. While he isnt the cdm that folk were probably wanting, him n neil together would honestly be class, as feel they compliment each other really well. If 1 goes forward the other will sit, and visa versa
