    They are not far right
The media and the left call anyone who is right of centre far right and it’s simply not true
It’s the same with reform. The Guardian and left leaning papers all do it for scare tactics
What’s happened in France is tactical voting amongst the other parties to ensure Le Pens party don’t get the lions share of the votes

unlike the UK France has a 2 tier system which means if a party does not get an overall advantage then a second round of voting takes place a week later. It allows certain parties to form "coalitions" . not sure how it works exactly but the voting is then concentrated on the 3 " main"? contenders? Macrons mob finished 3rd and second because all the "remixing" and the French public pushed Le Penns mob from 1st to third. The french public had the balls to get out there and ensure they the devil they knew and not the Devil THAT COULD BE to really cause them grief!
In the uk 19,000,000 [ some figures/ pundits state as many as many as 7,000,000 were tory ] didnt have the balls to speak up and vote so we finish up with a .gov that only a small % of the population voted for.

Whatever is BRISTOL CITY COUNCIL UP TO ... THEY ARE £MILLIONS IN DEBT and spending a fortune on messing up the road systems in 4 or 5 areas of Bristol. My road is down for "prohibited parking" translated that means yellow lines in a road that for the past 43 years [ my time here ] has had no problems with dustbin lorries ambulances fire engines. Already 2 other areas are complaining Barton hill featured on ITV Monday or Tuesday ... vehicle drivers up in arms non drivers obviously all for it! C R A Z Y

Smokeless zone in Bristol is giving them on average £20 -25 million a year [ will go up in time ] WE THOUGHT MARV was a wasteful greedy individual .. well latest council seems to be worse!

Reading thtough some of the financial tid bits and a few a few financial "wizards" usually close to the mark are painting a rather bad picture of the next 2-3 years. One or 2 are a bit shaky of the next 1 - 2 years.
one article sort of hinted that Kamikaze is "trying to build up" a safety net as his funding for projects wont materialise and will need to borrow ... heavily! this will curtail growth and repeat the years of 2002 -2005!

As I said elsewhere, if they stopped wasting money on Net Zero, that would free up billions on an uncosted pursuit of something that IMHO is unnecesary, and which will cost trillions not billions to achieve.
Did you know all car manufacturers get fined around £15k per car that they sell over a prescribed limit per year in the UK, where 22% of their respective sales, I think, have to be of electric vehicles ?

Not sure who implemented that policy, but it's totally ridiculous when modern petrol and even Diesel engines are far less polluting than they used to be, and there isn't the infrastructure to support everyone having an electric car, and we're supposedly in the middle of an energy crisis, with costs going up another 9% next month. It’s taking away people’s choice

Plus the fact that not everyone, including myself, wants an electric car at all !

My next door neighbour has bought a brand new Hyundai electric recently and was bragging that they only needed to charge it overnight a couple of times a week when it's cheaper, for the local commutes they occasionally make. Now the car is plugged in every single day during the day when it's not being used.

I bet I'm spending less per week on Petrol than they are on their electric bill.

Don’t work like that, we can plug ours in anytime. Unless we tell the charger to charge it will only come on at night when we pay 7p a unit. So to charge my wife’s car which is a hybrid and does 70 miles a charge cost £1.48 (probably less as other things on in the house). This gets her to work and back if she’s in the office or running round if working from home. She last put petrol in the car July 5th. I know because I get to fill it up for her as she can’t be bothered to stand and fill it up now. And it was when we came back from London.
Another note, I hate driving my car which is diesel as there is loads of engine noise compared to hers. Mines a BMW only done 30k in last four and half years and the difference driving hers to mine is night and day.
My next company car is electric and I can’t wait.

It’s fine if that’s what you want and if you have the capability of easily charging an electric vehicle, but many don’t

    PMQ's

THE ANSWER TO ANY "DIFFICULT QUESTION!!! ..............

inherited a broken econony with a £22bn blackhole ...must have said that at least a dozen times during PMQ's

IMHO I think Kamikaze is a very embittered man, he never had much luck as the opposition leader being made to to look like a slapped baboons bum on numerous occassions by most that stood at the dispatch box ... and even from the floor!
He seems to want want to ascertain blame , to make them [ ex .GOV ] feel guilty on what he and his 2 sidekick cronies are doing to the pensioners. A real sicko's needless revenge on some of the weakest people in the land, and likely believes has nothing to lose ... using them as a whipping post ... because most dont vote for him/ or labour anyway!

The first point was a valid observation, although not sure what it proves, the second is a biased opinion .

It was mainly pointing out that even though the car looks on charge, it’s not always the case.
It is everyone’s opinion on what they want to drive, I’m just saying that until I drove one I had a different opinion. 12 months ago I tried looking for any reason to justify my next company car should be non electric, now I’m in the electric car camp.
As my wife says in hers, she never notices the cost as we are used to paying electric monthly in the house. But when filling up on petrol it gets noticed.

    Again, that's absolutely fine.
But I have a mate who ordered a new VW ID3. It was 9 months late being delivered due to a delay getting the microchips and within 6 months he'd returned it to VW as it was getting nothing like the promised range from its batteries. And it was costing him over £400 a month.

How do you find the range, and do you have any problems finding charging points, or always charge at home?, I have a petrol hybrid, I’d be reluctant to change to fully electric as there doesn’t seem to yet be infrastructure for charging points.

I’ve a petrol hybrid, London return cost just over £30 in petrol, that’s pretty economical.

well the first point as you say is a valid observation! and basically in a slightly reworded form, the same droll comment he employed as an opposition leader when he didnt really have an answer!

the second comment well again a opinion, a translation of why he would do something and not have an answer as to why! Also body language! tells a tale when squeezed for an answer he doesnt give [ doesnt have a factual one ] his facial grimace in shape of a smile and turning to those around to encourage support is his achilles heel! I am not the only one that states the pensioners are the weakest group he could pick on, and also similar comments have been intimated as to why! SO biased ...? would go along with being one of many with similar /same opinions.

pretty obvious statement regarding the cost ... how many miles per £ on electric v how many miles per £ on fuel.

now a friend in the north has a hybrid thingy.... paid a lot of money for it after 3 years he tried to sell it after doing about <43,000 miles in it [ dont know exact but he said was over 40,000 maybe a couple thousand more ... he was shocked, more dawned on him after he tried to sell it / trade it, it was pretty good whilst using it, economical a regular 120+ mile trip was about 70 on electric and 50 on petrol charged at destination and returned ... cost was £4 charging and fuel at the time was 8.2 miles per litre at £1.58 average [his average costing had costings for fuel on bank statements etc ] so that journey cost him around £<25.00 [ about £46.00 on just fuel ]
A second hand diesel model of the same year was almost valued at almost double on the forecourt where he tried to trade in!

mind you not a company car so different kettle of fish ,,, but he said at the end of a term bearing mind what you paid .. running costs ... and trade in then over 3 years definetly a massive financial loser.

Full charge, like I said on the home charger is approx £1.48 but that’s done through the night, gets her 70 miles.
My brother had a Tesla, I argued with him about infrastructure and he said your mindset changes. You charge whilst you are stopped regardless of it being for 10- 15 minutes. And take advantages of the fast chargers when you can.
I couldn’t get my head round it, but like I said my company wants to go all electric and other people in my company who have had to change cars have all said they’ve never had issues with running out of charge. And the BIK is like having a pay rise. My car for instance eats just over £11k into my BIK and with private medical I’m taxed on every penny on my earnings.
We’ve also started getting our HGV trucks becoming electric now, with no reported issues.

A knife wholesaler whose weapons have been used in several killings has surrendered more than 35,000 "zombie" blades.
Police said the knives and machetes were designed to "kill and maim".
Under a government surrender scheme Luton-based Sporting Wholesale will receive £10 compensation for each knife.

BET HE NEVER PAID a tenner for them!
