I’m going to a two day work event for a job I’ve not yet started. There’s meant to be an evening do on the Wednesday night. I can’t really ask my future boss if the plans will change to accommodate the football but thinking surely they will even if it means watching it with a shandy in a countryside hotel bar rather than going to the pub and getting a bag in.
