In a way I think winning a tournament undeservedly via penalties would be more satisfying than winning every game 5-0
Maybe you missed a quote along the way. Brother is the only red in the family. He has also had a lad who is sadly a redshite too. He is still upset that they lost the league at Goodison park.
Sticking my neck out here, and predicting a free flowing game with chances at both ends. First genuinely creative, as opposed to exceptionally well disciplined, side we’ve faced.
lol, all of my family support different teams, my dad is a Welling Utd fan, and I'm not even sure where that is, so **** that.
I grew up not far from there and used to go and watch them play now and again. Was there for their famous 3rd round FA cup tie with Blackburn Rovers which they only lost 0-1. Great little ground and people used to climb the big sycamore trees in Danson Park behind the away end to watch the games. One of those little non league gems of a ground
Well done Arnold, you managed to do what Pickford did 5 years ago. Arnold, he just needs to save one now.
Yeah ... much better than doing it with scintillating football such as the Brazil 1970 world cup winning side ... eclipsing in a final where they demolished an excellent Italian side ... The England highlights dvds will be flying off the shelves after this tournament Whilst this is somewhat ongue-in-cheek that final (I was 10) cemented my growing love of the beautiful game ... England's performances in this tournament have had me considering switching to Netflx to find some entertainment
If we win it I couldn’t give the slightest **** how we play. ****house the semi and final 0-0 and win both on pens with zero shots on target for three hours of football if that’s what it takes. Nobody will care ten minutes or ten years after.
I couldn’t care less if you fondly remember a team from 20 years before I was born or it makes a difference to you how England lift the first trophy of most of our lifetimes. It made no difference to you if Lesta won the league playing tiki-taka or kick and rush but the point was simply that’s how I’d feel about England winning it which I expect is shared by most people.
