He really looked all over the place yesterday I dont mean he covered a lot of ground or done loads of running More like he looked knackered, injured drained of confidence he even admitted in his interview that he was tired
England are this far because of the draw...they're obviously hard to beat, but they'll get beat when they play a good side. The standards these days are not particularly high anywhere.
Just a lot of teams seem to be playing similar, defensive and boring without taking chances. We were still crap yesterday. Hardly created any decent chances and the goal again was a moment of genius rather than good play.
We had one shot on target in the first 90 minutes and that was Sakas goal. Which means their goalkeeper literally didn’t have to do anything.
Don't agree with this tbh.. I think all the nations have come to have a go...England are the dullest if the the only dull nation that have competed in the competition. The worst part is that should England succeed, people will see the approach as the correct way forward.
Problem in part was that he was all over the place. He strayed from being up front far too much and too far. Southgate should tell him if he strays then he’ll sub him and then actually do it. At times in the second half we had no outlet because Kane was busy holding hands with our defenders.
The worst part is that Southgate might end up being the 1st manager to win something since 1966 and he'll get a statue. For this reason I am absolutely desperate for England to lose.
