Too many to pin one down but as someone said on another thread JKA is going to take some beating.

    Special mention for Thomas Brolin.

At that point we were on the verge of becoming a really powerful club in the infancy of Premier League and the finances it brings. It was a club record signing and was supposed to be the investment to take us to the next level. We had to get that one right.

He flopped, we floundered and other clubs took on that top 3 status. For me, it was a key turning point in the history of our club. If we got that right and signed someone with a Cantona-esque impact on our club then it might just have turned out differently for us as a footballing force in Europe.

My memory may be going but Paul Okon was bad but terrible if I recall it was for Olivier Dacourt.

Most of Cellino signings were bad, Nick Ajose being one but nothing beats Augustin.

Rachubka in goal and the time we loaned Kebe and Stewart with buy options

Anita, De Bock, Douglas and virtually every left back in the last 10 years
