Well if he isn’t going to sign for us which is I suppose unlikely let’s hope wherever he goes it’s done and dusted sooner rather than the last day of the window. Sheff U twin attack of McTw*tface & Moore
Blades in the middle of an ownership ****storm. They can do very little on the transfer front until the new owner is ratified, that's if it ever comes off. Apparently, they've already mortgaged their upcoming parachute payments to meet running costs. The new owners would be reluctant to chuck any more in.
Indeed, another 'will he / won't he' saga is not what we want. Either that or us sign a striker or two pretty sharpish, so we won't be looking at him.
Some good video on the club website TV. Interview with Erol, one with McGuinness and another with our new coach, Riza. Interesting footage on training, with Ramsey fully involved. Erol made positive comments about Davies which is encouraging. Search Videos | Cardiff (cardiffcityfc.co.uk)
I can't see Moore coming to us. He must be on £20/30k a week at Bournemouth minimum. We can't afford that and Rambo. I'm at Poole until 29th. If I see him at David Lloyd I will have a quiet word - and tell him Masky Of Llandaff sent me.
Just watched them. Looked a bit breezy. Not great opposition, but players seemed to be forward looking. Some good movement. Difficult to tell in a few minutes though.
Millenic Alli? Nope, never heard of him. Plays for Exeter and we are reportedly interested. Not exactly a big name signing if it materialises.
A good Irish name. Before I clicked on the link I was thinking central European, Asian maybe? Nope Irish!!! Hardly a prolific or even moderate scorer and no Championship experience.
He may be a decent lower league prospect, but if he's the height of our ambitions this season then I give up. I can't see Tan paying silly money for a "star" as the media always calls them, but FFS come on - show some ambition for this upcoming season.
With you. Last season we had a marquee signing but an injury plagued one when it was a question of when not if he was going to get injured. The club needs desperately a signing or two of genuine quality and star dust. The fans need it to show them the club has ambition of success not another season with survival the aim, and Bulut needs it as he was told (according to the gospel that is Abbadanato) he’d be financially backed.
Yes please, but I'm genuinely interested in who us punters think we should be going after. My concern is that there could be a huge gap between ambition and what's reasonable to expect. In fairness, that's not the fault of anyone in particular. An absolutely guaranteed game changer is going to be well out of our price range and is unlikely to want to come here anyway. I hope we're casting the net further than just the UK.
