A somewhat ironic question to ask of a Pakistani in the British Parliament, especially given the state of Jess Phillips audience. Having said that, Question Time showed why Ben Habib was kept in the background until after the vote. What was clear on the programme was that despite several saying they need to listen to the public, it was crystal clear they'll still only do that with the goal of showing the public why they are wrong and should believe politicians. That's going to bite them hard on the arse if they approach it that way.
I wonder which brown country he will bomb first?* *Exclusions for brown countries he will continue to bomb as part of the handover
The real truth I read on a blog from a guy writing in a garage in Arkansas will come out and it’ll be glorious but mostly very, very funny.
Do you believe that he's mentally well? If not, do you believe this is all a very recent decline? If you do think he's mentally well, how come he was deemed not mentally fit to attend court? He's been very obviously in decline for a long, long time, yet the media were claiming otherwise. Are they complicit, or incompetent? Either way, surely anyone that believes them must feel stupid now.
And people still believe that politicians make the decisions and will defend someone based on the colour if their rosette, even if it represents something totally different to what it did when they were first sucked in by it.
I can’t say I take a huge interest in American politics and certainly don’t trawl social media for confirmation bias on it over and over again. It probably is quite important though and I’m glad I’m kept updated thanks to this thread.
You had no need to post that, your ignorance and narrow reading matter is crystal clear in the ignorant nonsense you post. It does confirm the point I've made several times for the reasons you stalk over here and try to disrupt any attempts at conversation.
So this morning, I've praised Starmer's choice of the guy in charge of prisons, and criticised Ben Habib, and I also said pre-election that Reform getting into power would be a clusterfuck. The lefties have still said **** all of any note.
Is anyone keeping a tally of who has said very important things? It’s important. Can the site add some sort of chart at the top of the page?
Yes, you’re sarcastic and nonchalant. Noted. Thanks . I watched the debate . American politics has an influence in UK. You don’t need to trawl social media, the mainstream media gives enough coverage .
We’re not fully Americanised when it comes to politics but we’re progressing towards it. Yanks are about the cult of personality We support political parties like football teams
This thread is a dumpster fire of opinions and nonsense. Thanks for your stellar contributions to the second element .
It's all quite odd, as in America, because of the federal and local split, as well as the House set up and despite being very much a two party Country, the President probably has less control of the US than the PM has of the UK, but we have the advantage by having at least the perception of choice. In both Countries and elsewhere, pressure groups and other non-elected bodies probably have the most influence.
