Verstappen just does not care about anyone else’s opinion, and he`s going to be defending as unfairly as ever if anyone is trying an overtake.

McLaren team principal Andrea Stella claiming the FIA’s failure to punish him “properly” for a series of incidents against Lewis Hamilton in 2021 had emboldened the Red Bull driver to race with such uncompromising aggression.

So he`s just going to carry on the same.

Strange FP2 day- apparently engine modes a little split which might explain Astons FP1 pace and possibly Landos big gap at the front, albeit McLaren don’t usually showboat.

Perez faster than Max which is unlikely to be representative of Maxs true pace but he’ll be very pleased in 3rd.

Ferrari struggling so far again with Merc handy, especially a very respectable long run on the softs for George Russell, matching Piastri.

Apparently a few teams favouring the soft tyre for race day.

Could be a bit of weather about to keep us on our toes!

Max ****ing up his practice quali run is why he's slower than Perez, he had a good .5 on him upto that point.

I read somewhere that his contract includes performance clauses .

Don’t know if it’s only 25 and 26 , or it includes the rest of this year .

If it does he may well not be there next year .

When was this, if you're gonna mention Silverstone, I'll just laugh in your face. He got that penalty because Liberty weren't getting their money's worth.

Three British drivers in in the top three with a hobbled Verstappen just behind should make for an entertaining race tomorrow. What’s the weather forecast?

Without taking sides either way, nothing shows the power of of our minds over our eyes than the way two people can interpret the same incident so differently.

Is it still a hobbled Verstappen then,or are they allowed to repair or change the floor?

Red Bull have been pretty brutal changing drivers mid-season,let alone for next year,so it`s hard to understand how Perez is still there now.

Performance clause ready to be engaged ?

They can repair the car with parts made to the same design whilst in Parc Fermé - if they have to change the spec of anything because they don’t have equivalent spares, he’ll get a grid penalty. I’m assuming they’ll repair the car and so he’ll be faster tomorrow and trying to come through.

The floor can be changed yes.but when he is pushed off in the gravel immediately his car will be destroyed again.

And he will be pushed off.

    Or just a reprimand .

I think it’s the latter , but not sure .

Just looking at weather By lights out at 3pm, the rain is expected to stop but the build-up on the grid could be very wet indeed. There is also a 50% chance of rain at 5pm, when racing could still be taking place
