Still there in my mind, I've made a point of always avoiding that area since it went.

Bought a box of haggis yesterday (chip shop style ones....size of a jumbo sausage). X30 in a box, £20, works out about 68p each.
Made this for me tea tonight.
Steak and Haggis pie, fresh chips n peas bloody tremendous.

Looks lovely that. I’m a big haggis fan, haven’t had it in a while but you’ve inspired me to source some!

I love haggis....make loads with it.
Haggis lasagne, haggis spaghetti bol, haggis scotch eggs (50/50mixed with sausage meat), haggis & cheese toastie/paninni....allsorts.
Fav is mashed tattie and neeps though, whisky or peppercorn sauce.

The box I bought was from Henry Colbeck on the Team Valley. They supply to local chippies.

Wife took the kids over to Manchester in the morning to see Aladdin at the theatre and they're stopping over. As much as I love them it's very nice to have a day to myself, we don't have anyone nearby to take them off our hands and give us a break (I'm referring to the kids not the wife) so it's very rare.

Did a bit of gardening, bit of work, finished Uncharted Lost Legacy on the PlayStation and got the Elden Ring DLC lined up for tomorrow. Anyone else into ER/Dark Souls etc?

I'm currently treating Mrs. A. to afternoon tea at The Curious Mr. Fox in Durham, which is a blinking lovely place, and the food looks great, too . . . . :emoticon-0100-smile

Iirc it was more of a sleeping partner role that was mentioned, however as previously mentioned I have no idea why I think that is the case.
It's amazing the detritus that we bury in the back of our brain, just wish I could remember the important stuff.

You are not alone mate. I can exactly remember our player line up in 1963....but, I can't remember when she told me yesterday afternoon that her sister was coming round for dinner on Sunday!<doh>

Called in 'spoons in Washington tonight on the way home and they had a special offer on, £3 off a burger and drink. I got a bottle of Asahi for £3.92, if I got a burger with it, it would have been £3.49 for the lot.
