History, English, Politics, Sociology, Law... it's a wonder we have any Tory voters at all with all those bias teachers.

I'm watching the newspaper reviews on SKY News, does anyone actually buy a paper anymore or even look at online tabloids?

I will read local news online, but never national papers and I certainly don't buy one nor subscribe to any.

Nope can't even remember the last time I bought a paper.

I get mine from the telly and radio.

Radio in the car into work in the morning.

BBC, ITV, Sky, Ch4 mainly on telly.

I agree, those damn kids can't vote.

I would also ban the 65+ from voting too as they are a drain on society and shouldn't deserve the vote either <whistle>

You can't have voters who are easily influenced around people who can influence them, unless you can assure that the person doesn't show their own personal bias.

Labour voters want younger voters for one simple reason and everyone knows it.

That's reason number 3 why they shouldn't be allowed.

Mate I don't know what any of that means especially the bit in bold.

The yoof have a sense of idealism bcos they're constantly taught about right and wrong, values such as liberty, equality, independence, fairness etc.

This is what draws them to more left leaning parties. It's not bcos all teachers are going round telling them to vote Labour lol. They're taught the curriculum, ironically set by the government.

At a young age they are influenced far more by their parents on which way to vote than anyone else. And more recently social media.

In my opinion it may be a naive viewpoint at that age but the world would be a better place if we held onto it for longer rather than becoming cynical batards but that's life.

Anybody who studies Sociology and learns about Emile Durkheim, Max Weber, Auguste Comte, Karl Marx, Michel Foucault etc and how labour, capital, the state and the bourgeoise interact, would understand how the system is rigged for the wealthy. I would expect them to make their own mind up about how to vote (or not at all) after assimilating that.

I also did a real degree that I rarely use lol. I'm from that generation where we were told, get a university education and you'll get a good job with a big salary for life.

Was obvs a joke that nobody understood the punchline.
