Those are similar to the claims before Trump got in power initially. Time has shown that it was precisely the polar opposite, as shown by events when he wasn't in power.

Schools have been built, extended and refurbished massively under the Tories, so have NHS buildings, you only have to look in hull for that, but it's happened country wide....

There's multiple reasons why it's so hard to see a doc/dentist these days and until we stop seeing such a huge rate of population growth, it's not going to get any easier, well that and when the NHS stops being so massively miss managed, wasteful, management heavy and totally revamped ( which it definitely needs but no party will ever be brave enough to do it )

I’ve always voted Labour always will, why? The NHS, the Tories hate the NHS as does Farage, because they are mostly well off, and mostly the people who vote for them are well off, they don’t see why they should contribute to the poor when they can afford private health.
I know Starmer isn’t the messiah but he’s not going to kill the NHS, Labour will make a lot of unpopular decisions to try turn the country around, but like Blair, he will do.
    As for Reform, **** off

I remember sitting on a stage was a man who had said that. Maybe a couple of commas would have helped you grasp what I was referring to.

The teacher in Birmingham area who was following the ciriculum and teaching children mostly of an Islamic origin family about British multiculturalism and same sex parents hounded out of his job, death threats and went into hiding. Protesters many not from the local area outside the school, not in support of the teacher but calling for his head.

I think the really funny thing is that said celebrities genuinely think that they can positively change people’s votes by coming out with such statements. Actually they probably do, just not in the direction they intended.

You do realise Tony Blair and John Prescott ring fenced all the money for every school and health centre in Hull, the Tories could do **** all about it, and were furious, why do you think Hull gets nothing from central government? Payback for the millions they locked off for Hull.
The Tories built **** all in Hull, it was all down to Blair

And while Trump was in power, Russia backed and strengthened Assad's regime in Syria while also stoking the Yemeni civil war by backing the Houthis. Putin wants Trump in power, hence why, like last time, he's deployed a lot of resources into targeted bot farms on social media backing Trump. I'm not sure why so many think he's a deterrent to the world's dictators, most of them are actively trying to get him re-elected.

That isn't necessarily down to the Tories, but a lot of the schools that have been refurbished (like the one I was at) are part of private academy trusts with private donors/owners.

We also have a declining population, net zero immigration will cause huge damage to our country.

Lots of very rich people vote for Labour. A lot of not so well of people vote Tory. That is the sort of black and white thinking with no shades of grey which bedevils Hull.
As for the NHS, the spending in real terms is the highest it has ever been. Countries like Denmark spend a lesser percentage of their GDP on their health service with better outcomes. The problem with the NHS is top heavy management and too many pen pushers and the debt they were saddle with by Blair and Brown loading it with PFI debt which means simple, even changing a light bulb, can cost a fortune

I saw someone say the NHS has replaced the Church of England as the de facto state religion in the UK after the war and I can’t stop thinking about it lmao.

Any criticism of the NHS is met with accusations of heresy, no matter how warranted it is. The answer is always ‘it’s underfunded’. I like single-payer universal healthcare as a concept and always have but our NHS needs serious reform and the answer isn’t necessarily just to chuck more money at it.

And I don’t serve the NHS as an entity. It’s not God or a king I swear fealty to. It serves me. It’s what my taxes and National Insurance contributions go to.

I'm not familiar with the story, but they won't have been teaching primary because there's zero about multiculturalism or being gay in the national curriculum. It might come up as a question asked by a pupil, but schools have guidance on how to manage such questions and most teachers (wrongly, in my opinion) dodge those questions.

Hull Royal infirmary has a new entrance lobby complete with costa coffee or is it Starbucks.
And to be fair there are loads of new buildings all around there including the Allams diabetes center, which he may have given a huge donation to build it it's still run and staffed by the NHS.

Much of which has been debunked, and other parts covered up.

I'll leave you to it, as it's just drifting all over, and you seem set in your beliefs.

Why are they leaving ? Because they don’t like to pay their fair share of tax like the rest of us, I’ve always said rich people never have enough money do they?
Like that greedy **** Ratcliffe, just sacked 250 from Man Utd so they can give it to millionaire footballers, while the **** pays not a penny in UK tax, **** him, and **** the rest of them, they all probably paid less tax than you did.

There was more money ploughed into Hull under the Tories. Who was in power at the time of City Of Culture? Prescott was Deputy PM and did **** all for Hull compared to what Denis Healey did as an MP and Deputy PM did for Leeds.
