Agreed. Love that Homelander stays front and centre as the character and actor are incredible, but thr other boys getting more time at the expense of butcher isn't as interesting for me.

Aye Antony Starr is great, he plays a similar role in Banshee which is one of my all time favourites. Similar in the sense that he almost always looks like he's barely restraining himself from unleashing ultra violence.

Also in both he's a 'bad' guy acting in the role of a 'good' guy, seems to be something he does exceptionally well.

Just watched episode 8 last night, I usually have no time for birthing scenes in tv shows. But must admit even though I was still thinking hurry up and get through the contractions ffs, I still think the episode was great for character development.

Loved the episode with Tina looking for a job, they could 100% do a series or to of the original beef where it's run by Mikey. In the few episodes we see him he seems like he would be a brilliant character!

I'm watching and enjoying 'Who Killed WCW'. All about how ego, internal corporate warfare and lack of organisation can destroy a company.

    Yes, I know wrestling's fake.

@Nacho and @Disco down under did you both finish the 3rd series of the bear?

    What did you think?

I thought it was class again and didn't want it to end.

    Pretty mesmerising.

I struggled at times with just how ****ing emotional everyone is at all times. But it's just incredibly made TV, so damn watchable and I just seem to absolutely ****ing fly through it.

Already looking forward to season four!

Probably already mentioned on here but Mrs K and I really enjoyed Kin and Blue Lights.

Can't wait for series 4 either, I was quite excited when I read they started filming it before the current one was on the telly. However, seems like it was only bits and we are still looking at years wait.

I know what you mean about how emotional they all are and quite often its anger and frustrstion which us very rwal, Carmy and Richie for me are the two that get me (both have **** they need to deal with). I think it's the realism of the characters nothing seems exaggerated or over the top they are just normal people struggling and for the most part trying to hide it.

Brilliant moment in the last episode with carmy and person from his past (trying to keep spoilers out of my post).

The early filming, I assume will be because of the absolutely ridiculous array or guest actors they get in. A programme like this has no right to get the likes of Will Poulter, Josh Hartnett, Olivia Coleman and Joel Mchale in really minor roles. They are very very in demand actors so they will fit them in wherever they can I would assume.

Yeah the moment you were talking about was pretty ****ing clever. It was subversive and really very anti-climactic, no closure to be found it that path.

Yeah if anything it was a **** you and your feelings mate! Which to be honest isn't shocking given what we saw before, I almost thought the behaviour was a nightmare as opposed to memories the first time it happened. I have read comments about people who work or have worked as chefs etc... and they say the programme is absolutely spot on with all that side of it, I've even read some who quit the industry because it was so bad say they struggled or couldn't watch as it was almost ptsd triggering!

Something tells me Carmy won't grow and move on from the confrontation either!

I'm still on the first episode mate, me and the Mrs are slow as hell watching stuff, binge watching for us is the same show twice in one week. Probably pick it up tonight, hopefully have it finished before Christmas <laugh>

I remember Will Poulter saying that he's been desperate to get on the show since the first series and was constantly pecking their heads about it so I reckon there's not much he'd not have been willing to sack off. Don't blame him.

I'm going to try and start this tonight, especially given the rave reviews on here.

I didn't find it easy to begin with, there's a lot of yelling but it does mellow somewhat and is definitely worth sticking with.

I was just going to say the same, it throws you in at the deep end almost like it's trying to test you but it levels out to more familiar peaks and troughs after an episode or two

If you liked Kin, try Love/Hate EJK. It's very similar to Kin but made a little earlier. Set in Dublin with loads of twists and turns in the storylines.

You can get all 5 series of Fargo on Prime (or is it Netflix)

The original film is also excellent and these 5 x series are all good although the first one is the best with the rest all very watchable.
On the first one, Martin Freeman (The Office) has a great part as does Billy Bob Thornton.
